While the sights appear similar in appearance, the difference between them is where the dovetail is located. I believe the dimensions are the same, however the location of the dovetail is different. The BoMar dovetail is slightly more forward than the LPA.

It's hard to tell in this photo, but the TGO-1 has a BoMar cut while the other 2 Springfield's have a LPA cut.

Are Bo-Mar sights still even available? I thought Bo-Mar went "toes up"...

not sure, the TGO-1 uses genuine BoMar's, so i don't know where they are getting them.
the STI sight's are BoMar cuts and Kensight makes sights for the BoMar cut.

    here's my TGO-1

So what are your feelings on the Bo-Mar? Just as good, different sight picture, same as any other...? How does it stack up to the Wilson adjustable?

for me, they are all the same. I can't tell a difference using them, and haven't had an issue with the pin's walking out of the Springfield (LPA cut) sights.
one thing on with the Wilson sight is that it doesn't sit as low as the BoMar or LPA, but that's just cosmetics.
The Wilson sights that i have is that it has tritium inserts. I would rather have a black rear sight, which i might swap out the rear blade for the solid blade.

Also i really haven't had to adjust the sights, so fixed sights would work just as well for me.

the term 'bomar' has become more or less synonymous with the sprung pivot-based adjustable design that uses the same cut as the original branded 'Bo-MarŪ' sights.

right or wrong... its commonly used that way and when someone says 'its a bomar sight' there a great chance they just mean that type of sight... whether its made by bomar or not.

im a big fan of the tripp k1 sight that fits in the bomar cut (dunno about the LPA cut but based on what Quack is saying it probably would.)

it doesnt use springs or pivot pins and isnt pivot based at all. complete rebuild of the adjust-ability mechanism.

the body of it also sits really low on the slide.
